Indeed, Jazz’s Harvard journey wasn’t easy. After graduating from a high school in 2019, she announced she would be starting her studies at the ivy league university that fall. However, that October, she announced she would be taking time off instead for personal reasons.
“These past few years have been so full and busy that I realized I could use some time to refocus and recenter to be the strongest version of myself,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I am so grateful to have the support of my parents and Harvard in making this decision and look forward to focusing on some self-care and getting prepared to start this exciting next chapter in my life.”
After her leave of absence, Jazz ultimately began her Harvard journey in fall 2021.
“I did it!!!” she wrote on Instagram the following January. “A few months ago, I was re-admitted to Harvard and completed my Fall semester. I couldn’t have done it without the endless support of family, friends, and fans! Love you all.”
