Mariah Carey Poses With Teenage Twins Monroe and Moroccan in Rare Easter Family Photos

You’re not just seeing double—you’re hearing it, too.

After identical twin sisters Bridgette Powers and Paula Powers witnessed a carjack on Steve Irwin Way in Queensland, Australia, they were interviewed by 7News Queensland, a local station in the area. Just as unexpected as the incident was, they did not expect the interview to go viral.

Journalist Marlina Woop kicked off the segment, introducing the interview with the Powers sisters, who detailed how their mother went face-to-face with the thief. Wearing identical shirts printed with bunnies, the two told their story in unison.

“One guy, he was up there with our mom. He went up there and he was coming back down toward us. And he goes, ‘Run, he’s got a gun!’” they shared simultaneously. “Oh, our hearts started to pound. I said, ‘Mom, where’s mom?’”

Well, according to the twins, their mother approached the carjacker, asking if he was alright after noticing blood on her face. However, after threatening to shoot her, she distracted the stranger and ran into the bushes, hiding from him. The twins shared how they were “blessed” their mother was alright.
