Ginny & Georgia Season 3 has arrived, and though the major focus of the latest episodes is on Georgia’s (Brianne Howey) murder trial and how she, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), and Austin (Diesel La Torraca) are coping, Sarah Lampert’s hit series also shines a spotlight on its many supporting characters.

In addition to following Marcus (Felix Mallard) and Max (Sara Waisglass), we get a deeper look into Abby Littman’s (Katie Douglas) life, including her struggles with disordered eating behaviors, her romantic relationships, and even her sexual identity.

In Season 2, Abby and Matt Press (Damian Romeo) were secretly hooking up, and though the two shared some serious physical chemistry, Press was rude and downright disrespectful of Abby. In Season 3, we hoped he’d either get his act together or Abby would find someone who treated her the way she deserved. We long for her to say goodbye to the hate hookups, and much to our delight, she did! And along the way, she began exploring her sexual identity as well.

So who does Abby end up with on Ginny & Georgia Season 3? Is Abby gay on Ginny & Georgia? And what do we know about Katie Douglas, the actor who plays Abby? We’ve got answers. Just be warned that Ginny & Georgia Season 3 spoilers lie ahead.

Is Abby Gay On Ginny & Georgia?

Based on Abby’s earlier scenes with Press, viewers may have assumed that Douglas’ character was straight, but in Season 3, Abby questions her feelings for Press and her sexuality. After realizing what she’s basically always known, that Press is a jerk, Abby tries to confront Samantha (Romi Shraiter) about their disordered eating, but Sam misreads the signals and kisses Abby instead.

The kiss clearly catches Abby off-guard and makes her question what she really wants in a romantic partner. As the season progresses and she starts getting tutored by Marcus’ friend, Tris (Noah Lamanna), Abby starts to develop feelings for them. While Abby doesn’t explicitly label her sexual identity, she’s actively exploring it in Season 3 (and presumably beyond). So who does Abby end up with at the end of this season?

Who Does Abby End Up With On Ginny & Georgia Season 3?

Does Abby get back with Press? Explore things with Sam? Or confront her feelings for Tris? In Season 3, Episode 9, when Abby and Tris are studying on the floor of Abby’s room, they lean in for a kiss only to be interrupted by Abby’s mom. Once she leaves, Tris tells Abby that they’re down to explore a romantic connection, but that she has to initiate something between them. So Abby kisses Tris, and the two seem incredibly happy and at ease! In the season finale, we learn that Abby is off to be a camp counselor for the summer, so we’ll have to wait and see what — if anything — Ginny & Georgia Season 4 has in store for her and Tris. Until then, let’s learn more about the actor who plays Abby, shall we? (You can learn more about Lamanna, who plays Tris, here.)

Who Plays Abby On Ginny & Georgia? Meet Katie Douglas

As noted, Abby is played by Katie Douglas, a 26-year-old Canadian actress who kickstarted her TV career at age nine. Per IMDb, since starring in an episode of F2: Forensic Factor in 2007, Douglas has appeared in more than 30 television series and films, including Spooksville, Defiance, Mary Kills People, Raising Expectations, Pretty Hard Cases, Clown in a Cornfield, and more.

Since Ginny & Georgia was already renewed for Season 4, we’ll almost certainly see Douglas back on screen as Abby.
