Leslie Bibb has been in a relationship with fellow actor Sam Rockwell for 18 years ― but there’s no way they’re tying the knot.

Bibb spoke about her relationship status during an appearance on “Today With Jenna & Friends” last week, while Bibb and host Jenna Hager were talking about a recent article that said women were “ditching the idea of marriage.”

“Listen, you’re speaking to the choir. I love Sam Rockwell,” Bibb said. “I would put him in my pocket and carry him with me all the time. I love him. I do not want to get married. I feel like we are married!”

Bibb said in the beginning of their relationship, Rockwell asked her if she really didn’t want to get married.

“It annoyed the crap out of me,” the “White Lotus” star said. “I was like, ‘Stop saying it. I already said I don’t want to marry you. Stop asking me like I’m gonna pull a sneak on you.’ But he didn’t want it either.”

While Bibb doesn’t exactly know where their feelings around marriage come from, she guessed that it’s “probably something about the way we grew up.”

“But I feel like if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” Bibb said, before adding that she also hasn’t ever want kids.

“I just don’t have that chip in me,” the actor shared.

Rockwell feels similarly, and said the two are “basically married” during an interview with the U.K.’s Standard back in 2022.

“She’s in my will. I feel like we are married. We live like a married couple. I’m really proud of her,” he said at the time, adding that the two are “very happy, we have a good life.”

“We just like it the way it is. We don’t want kids. It’s interesting when you tell people this,” the actor explained. “They get very upset with you. I know more and more couples who don’t have kids. Listen, if I knew they’d turn out great, then maybe — but there’s just no guarantee. Also, I don’t want to be selfish and be a bad parent.”

More and more stars ― like Miley Cyrus ― have also recently spoken about their decisions to be happily child-free.

“It’s just never been something that I’ve been overly passionate about,” she said during an appearance on The New York Times’ “The Interview” podcast earlier this month.

“It’s a lot of responsibility and devotion and energy, and if you’re not passionate about that, I don’t know how you do sleepless nights and 18 years of what my mom dealt with.”
