Children in the 1960s fell in love with The Flintstones , an animated sitcom set in a romanticised Stone Age town named Bedrock. And 30 years later, the series made it to the big-screen with a live-action cast.

Fan favourite characters like Fred and Wilma Flintstone and Barney and Betty Rubble were brought to life by John Goodman, Elizabeth Perkins, Rick Moranis and Rosie O’Donnell respectively.

However, upon its release, the film was critically panned by critics, with a heavy focus on its script. Even worse for the movie, it was named in several lists as one of the worst films of the year. Ouch!
