To simply say that it’s been quite a run would be an understatement. Harry Bosch, played to perfection by Titus Welliver, is the longest-running single character in television streaming history.

Based on Michael Connelly’s novels, the first season of Bosch debuted in its entirety in February 2015, airing for seven seasons with the series finale dropping in June 2021. A spinoff series, Bosch: Legacy, took over in 2022, lasting for three seasons on Amazon. But all good things must come to an end… for now at least.
Amazon’s decision to end Bosch: Legacy after three seasons was a surprising one, but Welliver recently told The Hollywood Reporter that he wouldn’t be shocked if “at some point there was a revisitation.” Call it a gut hunch, but I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Bosch… plus a Maggie Q-led spinoff series about Detective Renée Ballard is still in the works at Amazon.
