Since Ted Lasso debuted on Apple TV+ in August 2020, TV audiences have seen Brett Goldstein run, curse, coach, curse some more, and even try his hand at playing a more somber role in Season 2 of Shrinking, but audiences haven’t really had a chance to see the man himself.
That all changes tonight, with the debut of his first HBO stand-up comedy special, Brett Goldstein: The Second Best Night of Your Life.
Before he was Roy Kent or a co-creator of Shrinking, Goldstein did stand-up comedy in the United Kingdom, and over the past two years, he brought his latest hour-long set on tour across the United States.
So, what can you expect from the special? Well, f-bombs, of course, but per HBO, the special will also touch on masculinity, love, sex, and most importantly, Sesame Street.
What Time Does Brett Goldstein’s Stand-up Special Come Out on HBO and Max?
Brett Goldstein: The Second Best Night of Your Life comes out tonight, April 26, at 10 p.m. ET on HBO. The special will drop on the Max streaming service at the same time.
How to Watch Brett Goldstein: The Second Best Night of Your Life:
For those who get HBO with traditional cable, all you have to do is put the channel on around 10 p.m. ET tonight to watch Goldstein’s stand-up special. If you don’t, you’ll need a Max subscription to tune in whenever you’d like.
Max costs $9.99/month with ads and $16.99/month without ads when you subscribe via Prime Video, which is our favorite way to subscribe. You can also add Max to a bundle with Disney+ and Hulu starting at $16.99/month.
That’s not the only way to subscribe, though. Sling TV is among the best value for money among live tv streaming services, thanks to some great offers and add-ons. You’ll need Sling’s Blue plan with a Max add-on to watch HBO live. And when you subscribe to Max through Sling, the money-saving never stops! You’ll get 50% off your first month, plus $5 off your bill every month after that.
