Hallelujah, we’re back for another episode of The Righteous Gemstones. Just don’t mention that it’s the series finale.
In classic Gemstones fashion, the shenanigans are not over until the very last minute, especially as Baby Billy (Walton Goggins) looks to finally finish his magnum opus — Teen-Jus — and immortalize himself for his kids after helping to take down Cobb Milsap (Michael Rooker) at the end of Episode 8.
Season 4 Episode 7 finally provided answers pertaining to Lori Milsap (Megan Mullally) and Cobb’s fractured relationship, as well as their son Corey’s (Seann William Scott) role in the family. In the penultimate episode, it all led to the kidnapping of Eli Gemstone (John Goodman) and Baby Billy, requiring Corey to help take down his dad once and for all.
But surely not all can be good in the Gemstone hood, right? There’s no way that Judy (Edi Patterson), Kelvin (Adam DeVine), and Jesse (Danny McBride) are just going to go quietly into the night after four years of chaos and fun. God, we will miss this crew once this episode is over.

“A stroke of fate has left its mark on the Gemstone family. Together they travel to Galilee Gulch. There, their faith is put to the ultimate test,” a description of the episode reads.
We should also note that this episode’s title comes 2 Timothy 3:17, which references that for those who follow the words of God, a full and meaningful life is guaraunteed. It also means that one who walks with God is never unprepared for whatever situation may arise.
“So that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work,” the verse reads.
