Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may be celebrating their engagement during the Kansas City Chiefs bye week, according to analyst Troy Aikman.

The former quarterback, 57, revealed on the “Pardon My Take” podcast Wednesday that he heard the tight end, 35, recently popped the question.

“Someone actually reached out to me today and said they might actually be engaged,” the former Dallas Cowboys star said.

The big reveal came after Aikman mistakingly referred to the pop star, 34, as Kelce’s “missus” during the “Monday Night Football” broadcast.

Although the ESPN analyst received some criticism for the error, he may have been on the right track.

“So I might’ve actually broken a story,” he added.

Kelce had his best game of the season during the Chiefs’ match-up against the New Orleans Saints on Monday, tallying up nine receptions for 70 yards.

After one of his many impressive plays, cameras panned to an overjoyed Swift, who cheered alongside her father, Scott.

“The missus likes it,” Aikman told viewers before co-host Joe Buck chimed in to note the pair weren’t “married.”

“Oh I know,” Aikman replied. “I’m sure I’m in trouble for saying that.”

The Hall of Famer was right as social media users quickly called him out for the blunder. However, during the podcast Wednesday, Aikman said he didn’t understand why it was such “a big deal.”

“Was I on a tightrope right there?” he jokingly asked, noting he was shocked to see so many headlines about the on-air mishap.

“I’m thinking, ‘Gosh if this is newsworthy… like really?’” he said.

Reps for Kelce declined Page Six’s request for comment. Meanwhile, Swift’s team did not immediately respond.

Swift and Kelce’s romance has dominated headlines ever since they began dating last summer. While rumors of a looming engagement have run rampant for months, there is no evidence the twosome have taken their romance to the next level.

However, insiders told Page Six in August that the pair are bound to move beyond boyfriend-girlfriend sometime soon.

At the time, a Kelce source said the three-time Super Bowl champion already had a plan in place for their proposal.

“The engagement is happening soon,” the insider said.

While it’s unclear when Kelce plans to pop the question, the duo seems to be stronger than ever. The couple was spotted getting cozy at a Chiefs’ afterparty Monday following their big win.

In a photo shared online, Kelce sweetly wrapped his arms around the “Fortnight” singer as they posed with pals.

The next morning, Swift and Kelce jetted out of Kansas City alongside her father. While their exact destination was not disclosed, the pair were headed somewhere on the east coast.

Kelce has the next week off from football for his team’s bye week. Meanwhile, Swift isn’t set to take the stage again until Oct. 18, when she restarts her Eras Tour in Miami.
