It seems Travis Kelce gleaned some style inspiration from girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Though the Grammy-winning musician skipped Sunday’s Chiefs vs. Panthers game due to her Eras Tour show in Toronto on Saturday night, she was, perhaps, looming.

The tight end arrived at North Carolina’s Bank of America Stadium in an outfit that included corduroy pants by Barena ($360), a Jacquemus bucket hat ($335) and a large Louis Vuitton duffle bag — but it was his We11done blue and red half-zip shirt ($1,461) that got fans talking.

Naturally, Swifties believe that the plaid pattern is a nod to Swift’s recent string of looks that feature the festive print.

“Double digit dubs!!” he captioned a pre-game outfit snap on Instagram, referring to the Chiefs’ 10-1 record after yesterday’s 30-27 win.

“Did Taylor tell you to wear plaid 😃🐍” one person wrote in the comment section of the “Grotesquerie” actor’s latest post.

Another theorized, “Did Tay pick your outfit👀 plaid?!”

Fans also took to X (formerly Twitter) to draw the connection as well.

“travis ain’t slick. the plaid and then 2 every other frame .. and his caption 👀 i see u killa” one user posted, sharing snaps from his IG carousel.

Another person compared his outfit to four of Swift’s recent plaid moments, writing, “So does Travis’ outfit have something to do with all the plaid recently? 👀”

While Swift has always had an affinity for the checkered motif, she’s been wearing it more than ever as of late.

In fact, the fall print has been a fixture in her Chiefs game-day looks this season.

Earlier this month, on Nov. 10, the “Cruel Summer” singer was spotted entering the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos clad in a red checkered blazer skirt set from Versace. And on Oct. 7, Swift attended Kelce’s game vs. the New Orleans Saints in a plaid corset and skirt two-piece courtesy of Vivienne Westwood.

She also wears the look outside of the arena, choosing a black-and-white coat and skirt by Carolina Herrera for a recent girl’s night in NYC and she celebrated the end of the European leg of her Eras Tour in a very festive Vivienne Westwood red and green plaid skirt set.

Plus, she really threw fans for a loop at the 2024 VMAs in September when she wore a yellow plaid bustier and with matching train over hot pants for an uncharacteristically punk red carpet moment.

What could it all mean, if anything? Only time will tell.
