Tony Hawk’s son Riley Hawk is skating smoothly into parenthood.

Nine months after Riley, 32, and his wife Frances Bean Cobain—the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobainwelcomed their baby boy Ronin, the skateboarding legend revealed how the new parents are adjusting to life with a little one.

“It’s all a wild ride, so as best they can, but they embrace it,” Tony exclusively told E! News’ Francesca Amiker. “I have full confidence in their abilities, as well.”

But of course the pro skater is there to help because, as he said, “I don’t want to say it takes a village, [but] it definitely takes a supportive family.”

And Tony—who is also dad to kids Spencer Hawk, 26, and Keegan Hawk, 23, with ex-wife Erin Lee, and Kadence Hawk, 16, with ex-wife Lhotse Merriam—and his wife Cathy Goodman—who shares kids Miles and Calvin with ex-husband Matthew Goodman—may be just the team to help Riley and Frances out.
