Don’t mess with Todd Chrisley.

The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum claimed that he got into a tense exchange with College Admissions Scandal ringleader Rick Singer during their time in prison together.

During an appearance on daughter Savannah Chrisley’s podcast, Unlocked, on Tuesday, Todd shared that he immediately had friction with Singer when they were both inmates at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida.

Todd claimed he called Singer a snitch and told him that he didn’t want to speak to him. Things escalated months later when Singer allegedly talked badly about Savannah.

“So he started talking smack,” Todd said. “And so I just walked up to him and I said, ‘I’m gonna say this one more time. I’m already in prison.’ I said, ‘I will rip your head off and shit down your neck if you talk about my child again.’”

Todd, 56, noted that he would have followed through with his threat had Singer, 64, continued.

“I was like, ‘I don’t need you to be afraid of me. Just be aware that if my daughter’s name comes out of your mouth again, I will rip your head off and s— down your neck,’” he said.

Savannah said that her father almost got sent to a different county because of the altercation. However, Todd said he and Singer never had any issues after that.

Singer’s lawyer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Todd spent two years in prison for tax evasion and bank fraud before he was pardoned by President Donald Trump in May. He has maintained his innocence.

Singer, the mastermind of a long-running scheme to help wealthy high school students fake their way into elite universities and colleges, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison in January 2023. The infamous scandal also led to actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman serving time behind bars.

Singer was released to a halfway house in Los Angeles in August 2024, according to the Wall Street Journal.
