Tina Fey is setting the record straight on whether or not she will be a pal and a confidant in a reboot of the beloved sitcom “The Golden Girls”

On Friday, Entertainment Tonight touched on speculation that Fey would be checking into the fictional Shady Pines retirement home.

The comedian was asked whether she was aware of the swirling fan theory that she would be participating in a reboot of the iconic series. When the interviewer showed her a makeshift mock-up of promotional image, Fey didn’t hold back her thoughts.

“Oh, this. I did know about this,” she said. “I like that this was fooling people.”

She poked fun at the clearly fake image, which shows Fey posing alongside Lisa Kudrow, Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph beneath text promising 10 episodes of a “Golden Girls” reboot. Kudrow and Poehler wear gray wigs, while Fey and Rudolph appear as their usual selves.

“Like, why would we ever take a picture where Amy and Lisa Kudrow are in costume, but we’re not?” Fey asked. “If this fooled you, you might be a Boomer. And if you’re Gen X, and this fooled you, go to a hospital.”

Tina Fey raised an eyebrow at fans who believe rumors that she’s starring in a “Golden Girls” reboot.

Fey confessed that she “would never touch” the show, saying it was simply “too perfect” to revisit.

Last year, Fey addressed criticism of a different remake—the 2024 “Mean Girls” musical movie.

While appearing on the “La Culturistas” podcast hosted by Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, she had strong words for critics of the new film during the show’s recurring “I Don’t Think So, Honey!” segment.

“I don’t think so honey, little Broadway cunts on TikTok complaining about two lines of ‘Revenge Party,’ when I bring you fucking Reneé Rapp, I bring you Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, this is why we can’t have nice things,” she joked.
