“The Four Seasons” is currently the most popular show on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

The new comedy drama miniseries debuted on the streaming service on May 1 with the release of all eight episodes. Based on a 1981 rom-com written and directed by Alan Alda, the series was created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield and features Alda in a guest role.

“The Four Seasons” stars Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, and Will Forte and centers on three married couples whose decades-long friendships (and vacation plans) get complicated by divorce.

″Étoile” premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 24 to mostly positive reviews. The new comedy-drama was created by “Gilmore Girls,” “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Bunheads” visionaries Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino.

Set in New York and Paris, the show focuses on two internationally acclaimed ballet companies that swap top dancers in an attempt to drum up publicity and save their storied institutions from financial ruin.

A new true crime docuseries from Investigation Discovery is trending on Max at the moment.

“Hollywood Demons” revolves around celebrities whose careers and lives took a shocking turn toward fraud, violence, abuse and other dark paths. All six episodes are now available to stream and are each around 84-minutes long.

The animated anthology “Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld” was released in full on Disney+ on the fitting date of May 4. “May the fourth be with you,” indeed.

The six-part series is the third installment in the “Tales” anthology focusing on different characters from the “Star Wars” universe. “Tales of the Jedi” debuted in October 2022, followed by “Tales of the Empire” on May 4, 2024.

A new French historical drama called “Carême” premiered on Apple TV+ on April 30.

The steamy biographical series follows the story of Napoleonic era figure Antonin Carême, who was born into poverty in Paris but rose to become one of the world’s first celebrity chefs, preparing meals for the elite of his era.
