Social media users believe Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are secretly married after another NFL star’s acquaintance inadvertently appeared to spill the beans.
The discourse began after Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet’s event planner, Ellie Nottoli, posted details about Kmet’s Saturday wedding ceremony to his girlfriend, Emily Jarosz.
While giving her Instagram followers an inside look at the celebration on Monday, Nottoli revealed a particular detail that sparked a wave of rumors about the pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end: She showed off an envelope sample from the event that appeared to be addressed to “Taylor and Travis Kelce.”
Nottoli noted in her posts that the couple, who first went public with their romance in 2023, ultimately didn’t attend Kmet’s wedding as they were at a different wedding in Tennessee over the weekend.
HuffPost has reached out to Swift’s and Kelce’s reps for comment.
While E! News confirmed Monday that the couple are not married, social media users on X, formerly Twitter, still questioned the supposed Easter egg.
Other users argued that the name choice could be for styling purposes.
While Kelce appears to not have popped the question to the “Bad Blood” singer as of now, a source claimed to The Daily Mail that the pair are “100 percent” headed in that direction.
“Everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her parents for her hand in marriage, her parents will say yes, and they can’t wait for them to get engaged,” the insider told the outlet. “Nothing seems to be imminent, but it will 100 percent happen.”
They added: “Taylor and Travis are treating this relationship as their last relationship, and when they get engaged, when they get married and when they start a family, it will be exactly when it is meant to happen.”
