Kailyn Lowry looks to books to learn new things about herself.
“Reading has always been my escape, but it’s also where I find pieces of myself,” the “Teen Mom 2” alum tells Page Six.
Whether she’s diving into a fiction or nonfiction book, Lowry says reading helps her “process not just my own life, but life in general in ways I didn’t expect.”
She adds, “It’s not just about getting lost in a book—it’s about feeling understood, even if it’s by characters on a page.”

“I completely fell in love with every character in this book. The emotions it pulled out of me — love, hate, guilt, pain — were so real and intense. I felt everything. And the setting? Unlike anything I’ve ever come across in a story. I’m genuinely obsessed. This book is unforgettable.”
“I read this book back in 2024, and I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since. It’s one of those stories that shifts your whole perspective. There’s just no way you can read it and not start looking at life through a completely different lens.”
“I connected with this book in a way I’ve never experienced before. The similarities between my story and what was on those pages — it was like reading pieces of my own life. I genuinely felt like I was living inside the book. It hit so close to home.”
“Empowering. Groundbreaking. Painful. Enlightening. This book is all of that and more. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know because it’s the kind of story that stays with you long after you’ve finished it. It really makes you think — and feel — in a way not many books do.”
“This is hands-down the most unique book I’ve ever read. Sally might honestly be my favorite character of all time. The way this story lets you see the world through someone else’s eyes — it’s powerful. It’s raw. It’s real. This book is everything.”
“I laughed, I cried, and I saw so much of myself in this book. For the first time in a long time, I felt seen — I felt normal. It’s rare to find a story that hits you like that, but this one did.”
