Taylor Swift gave a few lucky fans in Nashville, Tennessee, the night of a lifetime on Tuesday.
The Grammy winner delivered a surprise performance to kick off her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s annual Tight End University training camp, with the “Tight Ends & Friends” concert marking her first gig since she reclaimed the rights to her first six albums last month.
While the venue had teased “surprise musical guests” on its website, Swift only revealed herself after singer-songwriter Kane Brown introduced a “really, really, really special guest” — and she walked onstage to perform her 2014 hit “Shake It Off.”
“Theoretically, how loud can we get?” Swift asked the raucous crowd, People reported.
“We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play, and these are the tight ends,” she said in crowd footage that People shared Wednesday.
Kelce co-founded Tight End University in 2021 with fellow NFL star George Kittle and sportscaster Greg Olsen to help tight ends “bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers,” according to the camp’s website.
The camp shared footage Tuesday of Swift and Kelce arriving hand-in-hand at the Nashville venue, garnering more than 60,000 likes on Instagram. The NFL, which boasts 31 million followers on the platform, posted a photo of the moment as well — to nearly 250,000 likes.

Swift has supported her Kansas City Chiefs beau on numerous occasions since they launched their relationship in 2023, but she’d never formally walked a red carpet with Kelce until they strolled into the event Tuesday on what happened to be a reddish-orange rug.
Some excited fans called it the couple’s red carpet debut.
“So, are we calling this their first ‘red carpet’ but casual?” one fan wrote in the comments of the training camp’s post, with another writing: “We finally get to see the sporting world’s ultimate wag on her first red carpet alongside her man. Big event!”
“WAG” refers to the “wives and girlfriends” of famous athletes, despite Swift’s megastardom in her own right.
Swift and Kelce essentially confirmed they were dating in October 2023, sparking one of the most high-profile relationships in modern pop culture. While she’s one of the world’s biggest pop stars, a source told People that Swift “enjoys letting him shine.”
