Lewis Pullman, son of veteran actor Bill Pullman, is embracing the value of nepotism in show business.

In an interview to promote his role as the villain Bob in the “Thunderbolts*” superhero movie, the younger Pullman goes all in on his family ties.

“I think that’s what is so undeniably fortunate about nepotism … what’s the hardest to get is the opportunity to get experience and to find your comfortability within a very bizarre circumstance,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview posted Friday. “And it took me so long to get comfortable in front of a camera and to forget that it’s there, and I wouldn’t have gotten that if I didn’t get all these chances to do so.”

Pullman ― who appeared in “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022), earned an Emmy nomination for “Lessons in Chemistry” (2023) and starred on the Amazon Prime sci-fi-western “Outer Range” (2022-24) — didn’t identify specific projects his dad’s pull may have helped on. But he made it clear the reputation of his pop, who’s perhaps best known for “Independence Day,” has been an asset.

“It would be a bummer if he was a bad actor or an asshole and I had to talk about him all the time, you know, and try and follow that,” Lewis Pullman said to THR. “Every set I go to, somebody has worked with my dad and they love him so much and so I’m like, it’s a hard reputation to follow, you know, flying in his wake. I’m always reminded of how incredibly generous and kind and talented he is.”

E! News noted that the young Pullman, 32, was rumored at one point to be dating another celebrity with famous parents, model and actor Kaia Gerber, whose mother is supermodel Cindy Crawford and father is tequila and club entrepreneur Rande Gerber.

She, too, seems to have embraced the “nepo baby” label.

“I personally am very aware of all the wonderful things it has done for me, and I would never, ever say anything negative about it, because that is my truth about it,” she told People last year.
