Just call him Snoop “Dependable” Dogg.

When Page Six caught up with the rapper and music producer at the 2025 Time100 Gala in New York City on Thursday, we asked what he loved most about being a father and grandfather.

“I can tell people what to do,” the 53-year-old quipped, prompting us to ask whether he was “bossy.”

“No, I’m a nice guy actually,” he insisted. “I was playing when I said that.”

The “Gin and Juice” hitmaker explained that he thrives knowing “people depend on” him.

“When you’re a father and a grandfather, people depend on you,” he elaborated, “and I love the responsibility of being depended on.”

Snoop — born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. — has four children and six grandchildren.

He shares son Corde Broadus, 30, son Cordell Broadus, 27, and daughter Cori Broadus, 25, with his wife, Shante Broadus, whom he married in June 1997.

The Grammy nominee is also dad to son Julian Broadus, 26, whose mom is Laurie Helmond.

Corde has welcomed three kids; however, his youngest died just 10 days after birth. Cordell has two children, and Cori has one.

Cordell, who played football at University of California, Los Angeles, joined his father for Thursday’s event.

When we asked whether Snoop was “cool,” Cordell did not hesitate to respond, “Very cool.” He also praised his dad for his involvement in his athletic career.

“I think when he started being my coach and I brought a lot of my friends in the house, he was a father figure for them,” Cordell told us.

“Out of all the accolades and everything, I think the best thing about him is his heart and him being a philanthropist and helping a lot of kids.”
