SkyShowtime has acquired the sun-soaked comedy series “All In,” which is set to premiere on the streaming service next year.
The series features a stellar Dutch cast including Katja Schuurman (“Costa!”), Diederik Ebbinge (“De Luizenmoeder”), Manuel Broekman (“Feuten”), Loes Luca (“Maud & Babs”), and Eric van Sauers (“Tropenjaren”).
“All In” follows a Dutch and Flemish family spending their summer at a Spanish all-inclusive resort. What begins as a dream holiday quickly spirals into a hilarious competition for the ultimate vacation experience. As if that weren’t enough, their carefree stay is turned upside down by a gang of criminals, and the hotel staff seem to be in desperate need of a holiday themselves.
From the race to claim the best room with the perfect view, to the daily sunbed wars at the pool, to adults acting like teens and teens pretending to be adults – “All In” brings “an entertaining mix of satire, and a sharp take on vacation clichés, social quirks and the clash of cultures between Flemish people and the loud Dutch. It is a timeless comedy of holiday mayhem,” SkyShowtime said.
Kai Finke, chief content officer at SkyShowtime, said: ‘We’re thrilled to add this Dutch-Belgian comedy series to our incredible entertainment lineup, reinforcing our commitment to discovering local stories that connect with audiences. Expanding our offering for the Dutch market and delivering culturally relevant content remain key priorities for us. With its sharp take on family and cultural connections – ‘All In’ is a perfect fit for our Dutch audience.”
The Dutch cast also includes Danthe Meulenbroek (“Flikken Maastricht”) and Ezra Blok (“Koorzang”), joined by celebrated Flemish actors Barbara Sarafian (“Mr. K”) and Robby Cleiren (“Rough Diamonds”).
The series is produced by Dingie, the creators of “Knokke Off,” and Interstellar Pictures, and directed by Luk Wyns (“Crimi Clowns,” “Knokke Off”), who also makes an appearance on screen.
