Sheinelle Jones Began Working for Today in 2014

Sheinelle began her career with Today in 2014, starting on weekends and gradually working her way up to co-host, allowing her to appear several times a week. 

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published April 30, her Today co-hosts addressed her ongoing absence from the show. “I don’t know anything about when or the timeline [for her return], but we always think about her,” Carson Daly told ET, adding that they “talk about [Jones] probably every day.”

Daly, who also hosts The Voice, added, “We’re wishing her well, and she’s spending much-needed time with her family. That’ll just take its course. There’s so much love going out to her.”
