An old clip of Sean “Diddy” Combs patting down Justin Bieber in what appears to be an attempt to check the pop star for a police wire has gone viral following the rapper’s arrest for federal sex crimes.

The video, believed to have been taken sometime in 2021, shows Combs wearing a pink hoodie from Bieber’s clothing line, Drew, and walking up to the “Peaches” singer to greet him alongside a black SUV.

It is unclear why they were being recorded, but the camera then pans to show the Bad Boy Records founder’s back, and he appears to ask Bieber a question, prompting the latter to shake his head “no.”

Combs then proceeds to tap the “Ghost” crooner, who was dressed in an all-black outfit and brown cap, on his chest area over his shirt. He first lightly touches him with his knuckles and then with the palm of his hand.

At the end of the video, the hip-hop mogul whispers into Bieber’s ear before walking away as the former teen idol gets back into his vehicle and tells the “I Need a Girl” singer, “Love you.”

“Paranoia,” one person commented on X after seeing the clip of the pat-down, while another added, “Trying to play it safe, nothing more.”

However, others questioned that theory, with one social media user writing via X, “If you were going to check someone to wear a wire, you would have it done by one of your security people when they arrive.

“Not when you are departing from their presence are they departing from yours. This is a bunk idea.”

Fans speculated that a wire check may have taken place in the video because it was revealed earlier this year that Combs had indeed been investigated by the feds — although it is unclear when the probe started.

In March, the Department of Homeland Security and other law enforcement agencies raided the “Bad Boy for Life” rapper’s mansions in both Miami in Los Angeles.

In a 14-page indictment released in September, feds disclosed some of the evidence they obtained from the properties, including 1,000 bottles of lubricant and three AR-15s.

Combs, 54, was charged shortly thereafter with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

An attorney in Texas has since claimed the Sean John founder sexually assaulted 25 minors, including a individual who was 9 years old at the time the crime allegedly occurred.

Combs has denied wrongdoing and is awaiting trial behind bars at a notorious Brooklyn, NY, jail.

Bieber, meanwhile, has been said to be “completely disgusted” by the allegations against Combs.

“Justin is in a hard place mentally right now,” a source claimed to Us Weekly Wednesday.

“He has such a history with Diddy, and the allegations against him have been hard to process.”

An insider also told the outlet that the “Intentions” singer, 30, is focused on fatherhood — as he and wife Hailey Bieber just welcomed a son, Jack — and wants “nothing to do” with Combs’ issues.

However, the internet has continuously dragged Justin into the scandal due to his close friendship with the “Making the Band” creator when he was just a teen.

In March, an old YouTube video about the “Baby” crooner’s “48 hours with Diddy” resurfaced online.

It showed Combs saying, “Where we hanging out and what we doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” raising concerns due to its cryptic nature.

A second video that resurfaced that same month showed the “Last Night” rapper confronting Justin over why they did not hang out “the way [they] used to,” making the latter visibly uncomfortable.

And last week, a 2011 segment from “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” sparked chatter since it showed Combs warning his young pal that he “knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff.”

Page Six has repeatedly reached out to reps for Combs and Justin for comment on the viral clips but has not heard back.
