Sabrina Carpenter admits her summer smash, “Espresso,” may be a bit overplayed.

But the crowd at the Time100 Next gala, where Carpenter was an honoree, was definitely happy to hear her sing the anthem.

The former Disney star took the stage at Pier 59 Studios in New York on Wednesday, and performed two tunes, including her current Jack Antonoff-produced single, “Please, Please, Please.”

But the crowd was anxiously awaiting her No. 1 song of the summer.

“If you’re sick of it, I’m sorry. If not, sing along!” Carpenter said before performing the massive hit.

Nearly everyone got up from their seats, whipped out their phones, and started singing along.

Carpenter — who is currently hard at work on her “Short N’ Sweet” tour — ended the song by telling the crowd, “Love y’all! Going to bed!”

The evening featured tributes to the Time100 Next list which included NBA star Jaylen Brown, Democratic Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Emmy winner Anna Sawai, Nicola Coughlan and Victoria Monet.

The evening opened with remarks by Time CEO Jessicle Sibley and editor-in-chief Sam Jacobs.

Honorees and guests toasted with Glenfiddich throughout the evening, and Brown toasted to his grandmother during his speech.

Kaia Gerber, Christian Siriano, Kat Graham, Jason Glaser, Kwame Owusu-Kesse, Vince Staples, Kaitlan Collins and “Oh Mary!” creator Cole Escola also made the Time100 Next list.
