Rihanna ended up being one of the most talked about people at this year’s Met Gala … before even getting to the event.
Word that the star was expecting her third child began to circulate after her go-to photographer, Miles Diggs, posted a photo of his muse arriving at the Carlyle Hotel wearing a stomach-baring cropped ensemble before the big gala.
Partner A$AP Rocky confirmed the news when he spoke to the press while arriving at the Met Gala solo.
“It feels amazing, you know. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up, and I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, ’cause we definitely happy, you know,” he said.
Rihanna has always had a flair for the dramatic when it comes to big announcements.
Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their first child, son RZA, in May 2022 and their second, Riot, in August 2023.
Asked how many siblings she wants RZA and Riot to have, she said, “As many as God wants me to have … I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
