Lisa Hochstein has made amends with her ex-mother-in-law, Marina Hochstein, following her messy divorce from Dr. Lenny Hochstein.
“I’m so happy about it,” the “Real Housewives of Miami” star gushed to Page Six at the Season 7 premiere party on Tuesday evening at RosaNegra.
Lisa, 42, explained that her kids — son Logan, almost 10, and daughter Elle, who recently turned 5 — requested that their joint birthday party be held at their dad’s Star Island home, which Lisa used to share with him.
“And I said, ‘OK, you know what? I’m gonna put on my big-girl panties, and we’re gonna do this,’” she told us, adding that her ex-husband “agreed.”
“We did it, and it was great. It actually turned out wonderful. He was on his best behavior,” Lisa shared.
“Marina and I actually made up, and that was the best thing for me, at least, and I think for the kids and our future.”
The Bravolebrity revealed that she and Marina “saw each other” and “had a moment” that involved “tears.”
Asked which of the two “initiated” the conversation, Lisa explained they “both wanted it,” cryptically noting that Marina has now “seen things” that Lisa has seen all along.
“It took her a little longer to see,” she added, claiming that a certain someone’s “mask came off.”
When Page Six spoke to Lenny on Wednesday, he told us exclusively that he was thrilled about the reconciliation between his mom and his ex-wife.
The plastic surgeon, 58, admitted there was “a lot of tension” among the trio as his marriage to Lisa fell apart but that “within 30 minutes” of the kids’ birthday celebration, the ladies had made up.
However, Lisa and Lenny “don’t really talk,” she told us Tuesday. Even at their children’s party, they “kinda said a few words and smiled and took photos with the kids,” but that was it.
“We wanted to have a flawless, beautiful, happy day for the kids, and that’s what we did,” she said proudly.
Marina, who has publicly shaded Lisa in the past, confessed to us in a separate interview that that was a “turbulent time.”
However, when she saw Lisa at Logan and Elle’s celebration, she told us she broke the ice with, “It’s good to see you.”
“For my grandkids, it’s very important that they will have a family because we have to be friends,” she shared. “I hope my son and Lisa also will be friends again.”
While that remains to be seen, Lisa told us she has turned her “pain into purpose” with the launch of her AI-powered divorce app, SplitWell, which is designed to help individuals better understand their rights, deescalate conflicts with their ex and find lawyers they can trust.
Lenny filed for divorce from Lisa after 12 years of marriage in May 2022, and it was finalized in November 2024.
