There’s nothing wrong with living in Bel Air — unless you live on a main road and you’re friends with Dorit Kemsley.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion continues in an exclusive clip from this week’s episode, during which the ladies discuss Sutton Stracke‘s off-color comment about Kemsley’s financial situation.
Stracke, who receives $300,000 a month in spousal support from her ex-husband, infamously told Kemsley to pick on “somebody else whose wallet fits” during a tense argument this season. While Stracke did apologize for the comment, Kemsley points out in this week’s episode that she has since “doubled down” and “tripled down” on the statement.
Even Stracke’s allies — Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Richards, Jennifer Tilly, and Kathy Hilton — can’t defend her in this situation.
“I thought it was a terrible comment. I was actually really shocked,” Richards says, while Tilly adds, “I thought it was very beneath you.”
Hilton then chimes in, “We talked about it the other night and you said to me, ‘I’m not proud of that.’ And I said, ‘You shouldn’t be.’”
Stracke finally breaks her silence — not to apologize, but to remind Kemsley that she hasn’t always said the nicest things about her either. Not only did Kemsley allude to Stracke being an “alcoholic” in her confessional, but she also poked fun at Stracke’s unfortunate dating life.
“Do you think you deserved it? You don’t exactly live like the Queen of Sheeba. You live on a fucking main road,” Kemsley fires back, prompting an awkward silence from the room (with the exception of Tilly crunching chips in her mouth).
“So she lives on a street front in Bel Air — that’s what you’re weaponizing against her?” moderator Andy Cohen asks, to which Kemsley replies, “I wouldn’t want to live on a fucking main road.”
See how it all goes down when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesday at 8/7c on Bravo.
