Lil Uzi Vert was rushed to a New York City hospital on Monday after falling ill.

The “Just Wanna Rock” rapper, 29, is currently getting medical treatment after being wheeled out of a Lower Manhattan hotel by paramedics.

First responders arrived on the scene after a 911 call was made about a “sick person,” according to TMZ. However, it’s unclear who made the call.

An eyewitness told the outlet that the singer — whose real name is Symere Bysil Woods — was loaded into an ambulance at around 2:30 p.m. local time.

Lil Uzi Vert was reportedly conscious as he was taken out of the hotel, and his girlfriend, former City Girls rapper JT, was close by his side.

A video obtained by TMZ showed the moment he was escorted out on a gurney and loaded into the back of the emergency vehicle.

At the time, he was surrounded by security guards with black umbrellas to protect his privacy.

As of Tuesday, the “Way Life Goes” rapper was still in the hospital. It’s still unknown what caused him to get sick and what symptoms he was exhibiting.

Page Six has reached out to reps but did not hear back at the time of publication.

It’s unclear what Lil Uzi Vert was up to before his hospitalization, but a week ago, he shared an Instagram carousel that showed him recording music at a studio.

As for his girlfriend, whose real name is Jatavia Shakara Johnson, she gave a glimpse of what they were possibly up to hours before he was rushed to the hospital.

According to her Instagram Story, she was at a party in The DL Rooftop Lounge, though it’s unknown if he was with her.

She has yet to speak out on his medical emergency.
