Prince Harry is officially back to work. Following a much-debated surprise return to the UK, the Duke of Sussex made his first public appearance this Thursday, attending one of the events that matter most to him.
Prince Harry attended the inaugural Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards in London, wearing black tie and his military medals. He attended the event alone, without his wife Meghan Markle or his children, Archie and Lilibet.
Upon arrival, he posed for some selfies with some veterans and looked happy to be back home.
“Good. It’s good to be back on British soil,” Harry told PEOPLE when asked how he felt to be back home.
