BAD BOY

“Bad Boy,” the new drama from “Euphoria” creator Ron Leshem, has been snapped up by Netflix internationally.

Inspired by a true story, “Bad Boy” tells the story of a young man called Dean who is held in a cruel juvenile detention facility where he befriends a teenager imprisoned for murder. Twenty years later Dean has left his past behind and become a successful comedian – and he’s determined to keep his youthful indiscretions a secret.

Leshem is showrunner on the series, which is written and directed by Hagar Ben-Asher (“Dead Women Walking”). Daniel Chen, Havtamo Farda and Guy Manster star.

The eight-episode series is produced and co-financed by The North Road Company and Sipur, who serve as co-studios on the project, with Israeli Broadcaster HOT and Tedy Productions producing.

It will launch on HOT in Israel next year followed by 190 territories on Netflix.
