Miss World Uganda, Trivia Elle Muhoza, brought the anatomy of childbirth to the Miss World stage. During the competition in Vietnam, Muhoza stepped out in a custom couture gown titled “The Layers of Life,” created by Ugandan designer Keesha Abdallah .
Instead of drawing inspiration from flowers, architecture or traditional red-carpet glamour, Abdallah looked to the seven anatomical layers associated with a Cesarean section. The result was a dramatic, layered gown designed as a tribute to childbirth, motherhood and the physical journey women experience when bringing a baby into the world.
