The 2025 Met Gala red carpet is open.
This year’s event coincides with the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
The dress code, Tailored for You, is inspired by the exhibition’s focus on menswear and suiting.
Gala co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour with LeBron James serving as an honorary chair.
The host committee is made up of André 3000, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jordan Casteel, Dapper Dan, Doechii, Ayo Edebiri, Edward Enninful, Jeremy O. Harris, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, Rashid Johnson, Spike Lee and Tonya Lewis Lee, Audra McDonald, Janelle Monáe, Jeremy Pope, Angel Reese, Sha’Carri Richardson, Tyla, Usher and Kara Walker.
About 450 guests are expected at the gala, including Zendaya, Chappell Roan, Nicole Kidman, Jeremy Allen White, Miley Cyrus, Chance the Rapper, Adrien Brody, Sabrina Carpenter, Lana Del Ray, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha, Doja Cat, Jamie Foxx, Tracee Ellis Ross, Cynthia Erivo, Ncuti Gatwa, Walton Goggins, Whoopi Goldberg, Hendy Golding, Gig Hadid, Anne Hathaway, Brian Tyree Henry, Kim Kardashian, Joey King, Barry Keoghan, Mindy Kaling, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Solange Knowles, Dua Lipa, Byran Lourd, Maluma, Nicki Minah, Demi Moore, Jenna Ortega, Keke Palmer, Tyler Perry, Questlove, Rosé, Nicole Scherzinger, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Andrew Scott, Shaboozy, Zoe Saldaña, Anna Sawai, Sydney Sweeney, Jodie Turner-Smith, Donatella Versace and Tom Ford.
Pre-Met Gala festivities began this past weekend with parties hosted by the likes of Ferragamo, Olivier Rousteing, UTA, Monse and stylist duo Wayman + Micah.
