Megyn Kelly didn’t shy away from speaking out against her fellow Time100 honoree Blake Lively at the publication’s New York City gala on Thursday night.

When asked about Lively’s controversial inclusion on Time’s Most Influential People list, Kelly said, “She’s only here because she’s a celebrity,” and that Lively’s accusations against her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni are another example of “fake Me Too allegations.”

The former Fox news anchor spent much of her time on the carpet talking to reporters about the Lively-Baldoni case, even giving advice to Lively’s pop star friend Taylor Swift.

“Either Taylor Swift is her dragon or she isn’t, I don’t know,” Kelly told Variety, referring to a text message from Lively, in which she refers to Swift as Khaleesi, the dragon-controlling queen played by Emilia Clarke on “Game of Thrones,” alluding to powerful forces that she has in her corner.

“That’s what Blake Lively said, so I guess I’ll have to take her at her word,” Kelly said. “So if I were Taylor, I’d speak out about it. But obviously she’s distancing herself.”

Lively attended the gala with her husband Ryan Reynolds and mother Willie Elain McAlpin, whom she honored with a personal speech at the dinner portion of the event.

During the personal five-minute speech, she revealed that McAlpin had survived an attack on her life before Lively was born.

“My mom never got justice from her work acquaintance who attempted to take her life when she was the mother of three young kids — years before I was born,” she said. “She has always credited her beating heart today with the story she heard from another woman in a similar circumstance, speaking on the radio as my mom drove home one day.”

Hearing that woman speak to her experience, Lively continued, is why “my mom is alive today.”

Lively has sued Baldoni, his publicists and the producers behind “It Ends With Us,” alleging that they launched a smear campaign against her after she complained about sexual harassment on set. Baldoni then sued her and Reynolds, arguing that they sought to destroy his career with false allegations.
