Meghan Markle is glowing as she participates in her first podcast interview — and she went all natural.
The Duchess of Sussex sat down with host Jamie Kern Lima for the latest episode of her podcast, where the two friends both went completely makeup-free.
While teasing the Monday release on Instagram, Lima explained, “She and I decided to do the episode the same way we spend most of our time together – with no makeup on, in our sweats, and cozied up in these two rocking chairs I have at my house.”
At the very start of the episode, Lima admitted, “I have not done an episode without makeup since my thousand QVC shows.”
“Do you think I have?” Markle replied with a laugh.
Later in the episode, Markle, 43, shared that she has created email addresses for each of her children, and emails them little tidbits of cute things they’ve done or said every night.
“At one at one point in their life — maybe when they’re 16 or when they’re 18 — I’ll say ‘Here’s an email that I’ve been keeping for you. For your whole life, here’s everything and every moment that I wanted to tell you how much I love you and how proud I am of you,’” Markle said, beginning to tear up.
“Of all things, that’s making me emotional,” she continued, wiping her tears. “This is why it’s so nice to not have makeup on!”
She also paid tribute to Archie and Lilibet, whom she shares with husband Prince Harry, with her attire. Markle wore a customized sweater with their names stitched around the collar.
She paired the sentimental sweater with a matching pair of sweatpants and white sneakers.
Her hair was worn down in lose waves while her freckles and fresh face shined.
