Prince Archie is 6!
Meghan Markle celebrated her and Prince Harry’s son’s birthday with a touching Instagram tribute Tuesday.
“Our son. Our sun,” she captioned a photo of Archie looking at a sunset. “Happy 6th birthday to Archie!”
Markle then thanked everyone for “all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy.”
“He’s six! Where did the time go?” she added. “(And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special ❤️).”
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, gave birth to her baby boy in May 2019.
At the time, she and Harry, 40, were one year into their marriage and lived in England as active members of the royal family.
However, the couple quit their roles in 2020 and moved across the pond.
They now reside in a Montecito, Calif., mansion with Archie and his 3-year-old sister, Princess Lilibet, who was born in June 2021.
While Markle and Harry have primarily kept their children out of the spotlight over the years, fans are given glimpses of Archie and Lilibet in rare family photos.
This has become more frequent since Markle returned to Instagram earlier this year.
Most recently, the As Ever creator shared a black-and-white photo of the Duke of Sussex and their little ones with her followers.
She did not caption the social media upload, which came on the heels of Harry losing his appeal for publicly-funded security for his family in the United Kingdom.
“I can’t see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point,” the former military pilot said after Friday’s “quite sad” verdict.
“And the things that they’re gonna miss is, well, everything,” he added.
Markle has yet to address the ruling, although many believed the picture she posted sent a clear message.
She frequently gushes about her family, dishing on motherhood during a wide-ranging interview on the “Jamie Kern Lima Show” last week.
“No one has ever loved someone more than the way [I love them],” the “Suits” alum told listeners.
The former actress also broke down her morning routine with Archie and Lilibet, from getting them dressed to making their breakfasts and lunch boxes.
