Martha Stewart says her verdict on Meghan Markle’s much-discussed Netflix series is still out.

Appearing on “Access Hollywood” this week to promote her new NBC cooking show “Yes, Chef!” with chef José Andrés, Stewart admitted she hasn’t had the chance to watch “With Love, Meghan,” which finds Markle sharing her personal gardening and cooking tips alongside a host of celebrity guests.

“I have not seen the show yet. Has it started?” Stewart said when asked about Markle’s show, which debuted March 4. “I haven’t seen it yet, so I’ll watch an episode and see how she does. I’m curious.”

Andrés, meanwhile, praised the Duchess of Sussex’s efforts to aid in recent wildfire relief efforts throughout Los Angeles.

“I love Meghan, that she puts herself out there … inspired by many. By women like you, people like you,” he said, gesturing to Stewart. “It’s great.”

Netflix renewed “With Love, Meghan” for a second season just days after its premiere. Reviews of the show, however, have been mixed to negative. Markle’s domestic insights “feel as canned as a limited-edition American Riviera Orchard preserve,” Variety wrote, while The Guardian slammed the Duchess of Sussex for her “lack of humor, irony [and] self-awareness.”

The show has also made Markle a target of criticism among public figures like British-American journalist Tina Brown, a former editor-in-chief at Vanity Fair and The New Yorker.

“With her unerring instinct for getting it wrong, Meghan has come out with a show about fake perfection just when the zeitgeist has turned raucously against it,” Brown wrote in her Substack newsletter “Fresh Hell” in March.

Fellow actor-turned-lifestyle mogul Gwyneth Paltrow, however, has defended Markle in interviews and with playful posts on social media.

“It’s so great what she’s doing. I’m proud of her,” Paltrow said in an appearance on “The World’s First Podcast” this week. “Every woman deserves to go into anything they want to do.”
