Another “Love Is Blind” baby has arrived!
Amber Barnett gave birth to her and her husband Matt Barnett’s first baby, she announced via Instagram Sunday.
“Baby Barnett has arrived and is more perfect than anything I could’ve dreamed. If you hadn’t guessed yet Baby B is a She and I literally still can’t believe the hospital let us take her home and that she is actually ours,” Amber captioned a photo from the hospital.
“It may be the hormones but @barnettisblind and our baby girl have my heart so full I can hardly function, I hope this feeling never goes away 🩷.”
Matt added in a post on his own account, “Promoted from daddy to dad #girldad.”
Amber told “The Love Seat” podcast listeners in October 2024 that Matt “just went and knocked [her] up … over summer break.”
The former tank mechanic, 32, admitted she unknowingly had been pregnant while celebrating her former co-star Cameron Hamilton’s birthday that July.
“I was bartending at that party, and I know we were all getting turnt,” she recalled. “So, little baby B might come out ready to throw down with us.”
Amber debuted her baby bump in an all-white outfit at the time and continued documenting her pregnancy progress via Instagram.
“Where it started, Where we’ve been, Where we’re at,” she wrote alongside a montage of their romance after the podcast episode dropped.
Amber and Matt, 34, met and fell in love in 2018 while filming Season 1 of the Netflix show.
The pair tied the knot in November of that year, but their nuptials did not air until the series premiered in 2020.
Prior to her pregnancy announcement, Amber assured her Instagram followers that she was still with her partner.
“Yes, @barnettisblind and I are still married,” she wrote in September.
The duo are not the first “Love Is Blind” pairs to welcome a baby, as Bliss Poureetezadi gave birth to her and Zack Goytowski’s daughter, Galileo, in May.
Three months later, Alexa and Brennon Lemieux’s daughter, Vienna, arrived.
Additionally, alums from the show who did not walk down the aisle have moved on and started families, including Amber and Matt’s castmates Jessica Batten and Mark Cuevas.
Giannina Gibelli, for her part, became a mother in March to her and “Bachelorette” alum Blake Horstmann’s son, Heath.
