Nearly a year after her ill-fated relationship with Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, came to an end, Larsa Pippen is breaking her silence about the catalyst that pushed her to end things for good.

During the Season 7 premiere of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” Pippen, 50, revealed that her children encouraged her to “just get off the ride” amid her on-and-off relationship with the 34-year-old former college basketball player. The reality star shares four children with ex-husband Scottie Pippen.

“You know what’s really crazy? When I was dating Marcus, my kids were like, ‘Stop getting back together and breaking up and just get off the ride,’” Pippen told her mom during the June 11 episode. “That’s when I was like, ‘I need to get away from the situation. My kids think that it’s not good for me.’”

Pippen referred to the rocky relationship as “so embarrassing.”

“I don’t want to, like, have to address it,” the TV personality told her mom through tears. “It’s so embarrassing.”

Pippen and younger Jordan were first publicly linked in September 2022 and confirmed their relationship the following year. They broke up multiple times before officially calling it quits in March 2024.

The pair’s relationship particularly caused a stir online considering the contentious history between the Pippen and Jordan families. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen — one of the most famous NBA duos in history — became the driving force behind the Chicago Bulls dynasty in the ’90s.

“I fought everyone to be with [Marcus] and then it was not a good situation for me and my family. So, I had to remove myself from it,” Larsa admitted in the episode.

Elsewhere in the premiere, Pippen reflected on eventually seeing a side of Marcus “that didn’t really align with who I am as a person.” She claimed that he had a habit of staying out too late at the club after a night out.

“We went from really being in love—getting along—to me seeing a side of him that didn’t align with who I am as a person,” she said before adding, “When we would go out, he would like to be the very last person in the club. I mean, like, there’s no one there but the janitors.”

She also claimed to have spotted several red flags while they were together.

“When we were first dating, paparazzi caught a girl going to his house…now that I look back at all this stuff, I’m like, ‘I shouldn’t have believed him then,’” Pippen said in the episode.

Meanwhile, Jordan appeared to take shots at Pippen on social media back in September.

After a fan asked Jordan about his former flame in the comments section of his Sept. 6 Instagram post, Jordan commented that Pippen was “back where she belongs” alongside a street emoji.
