They say that beauty is pain, and in Kylie Jenner’s case, that unfortunately couldn’t have been more true for her Met Gala look.

The reality star hit the red carpet at the fashion event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday night wearing a custom halter-neck Ferragamo gown with matching gloves for the evening’s theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

The “Kardashians” star went on to reveal that the Ferragamo creative director, Maximillian Davis, who designed her look, gave her a fashion tip for her ensemble that left her crying out in pain.

“Max told me to tape my feet into these shoes,” an anguished Jenner explained in an Instagram Story on Monday, adding, “And now my feet are stuck in the shoes! Ow!”

In the post, she shared a clip of her team apparently working to get her feet out of her heels.

Despite the struggle, Jenner later shared that they were eventually able to pull her feet out of the shoes.

“They’re okay!” she wrote to her followers in a separate post alongside a snapshot of her bare feet.

While Jenner’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, who has been linked to her since April 2023, was noticeably absent from the event, her sisters and Met Gala regulars Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were spotted at the gathering.

The “Willy Wonka” star reportedly skipped accompanying Jenner to the Met Gala in lieu of tuning into a New York Knicks matchup against the Boston Celtics from home, according to multiple outlets.
