Bed chem? More like bed temp.

Mark Consuelos was raving about the beautiful 74-degree NYC weather forecast on Live with Kelly and Mark on Wednesday, arguing that’s “the hottest it should be” in the Big Apple.

“Because it warms up to about 82 because of all the soup and all the cement,” he explained. “It just gets hotter. So 74 [degrees] usually equals 80, 82.”

Meanwhile Kelly Ripa claimed that 84 degrees is the “perfect temperature” for her, reminding her of how this impacts bedtime alongside Consuelos.

“We have a bed where his side air conditions him all night so he has chilly cheeks, and then my side is like a warm hug,” she said.

Consuelos and Ripa likened her side of the bed to being in a “crock pot,” as he teased that his wife is “slow-cooking overnight.”

Ripa gushed, “Oh, I love it. I love it so much.”

Nonetheless, Consuelos shared the good news that the weather will be “sticking around the 60s and 70s” this week, meaning that “spring is definitely here.”

As Ripa and Consuelos mentioned, this is not the first time that have dished on their bed temperature. Last year, Consuelos joked about the heat “radiating” from Ripa’s side of the bed, so much so that her “leg was wet.”

Ripa joked at the time, “That has nothing to do with the bed. That’s just my age! That’s just age.”
