Kelly Ripa is getting honest about resenting her husband ― and it all comes down to a slight age difference.
While Ripa and Mark Consuelos are both 54, Ripa is six months older than her husband.
“Every day that I wake up aging like six months more than you, it bothers me,” Ripa said on the two’s “Live with Kelly and Mark” show Monday. “I resent the fact that you just aren’t aging ― at all. In any way.”
“I’m fine with it,” Consuelos said with a smile.
“I’m resentful. It’s your fault,” Ripa deadpanned, as Consuelos laughed
“He just now started to get like three gray hairs, and he’s like, ‘Can you see it? Can you see the gray hairs?’” she joked, adding that he shouldn’t pluck them.
“If I had plucked out my gray hairs, I’d be bald,” Ripa quipped. “Completely bald.”
While Ripa sounded like she’s joking, she has gotten serious before about a real complaint she had with her husband early on in their relationship.

“You used to be insanely jealous, and that was a hard pill to swallow,” Ripa said to Consuelos during an early episode of her podcast, “Let’s Talk Off Camera,” in 2023.
Ripa said that her husband’s jealously was “not recent because it definitely changed,” which was good as it was “very hard being married to somebody who is jealous.”
Consuelos opened up about being “pretty insane” when he was 25 and newly married to Ripa.
“That jealousy thing definitely followed me for a while. I’m not jealous anymore,” the “Riverdale” actor added.
“It’s ugly,” he said. “As ugly as it feels to the person who has to be on the receiving end of it, it’s such an ugly feeling inside. If this is any consolation, you know you’re being crazy. The jealous person knows that this is wrong and it’s ugly, but they can’t help it.”
