‘Tell Me Lies’ Star Jackson White Teases “Juicy” Season 2 Finale (Exclusive)
Jackson White did not tell his mom lies.
In fact, Katey Sagal recently shared she and her son had such an honest relationship while the Tell Me Lies star was growing up that they didn’t shy away from talking about the birds and the bees.
“I always talked openly about sex and drugs with my kids,” the 71-year-old—who shared Jackson and daughter Sarah, 30, with late ex-husband Jack White, as well as daughter Esme with husband Kurt Sutter—said on the March 11 episode of the MeSsy podcast. “Well, I gave them information on an as-needed basis.”
Katey noted that when Jackson was growing up, boys and girls were having sleepovers in high school, causing sex to come “into the story much younger.”
“I remember telling [Sarah and Jackson], when you’re old enough and you want to have sex, you need to tell me because we need to talk about getting protection, we need to talk about all this stuff,” she explained. “When Jackson was 16 years old, he comes to me. On the day, ‘I’m ready, Mom.’”
