Kali Reis, who broke out in 2024 for starring alongside Jodie Foster in “True Detective: Night Country,” has been cast in Apple TV+’s upcoming heist drama “12 12 12.”
Per the official logline, “’12 12 12′ “unfolds across the three propulsive timelines of a heist: the 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist and the 12 days following the heist. The series follows a disgraced FBI agent (Anthony Mackie) and an American career criminal (Jamie Dornan) who play a zero-sum game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the center of it all is the daring, epic raid on a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich.” Mackie and Dornan serve as executive producers in addition to starring. The cast also includes Jack Kesy.
Before beginning her career in Hollywood, Reis was best known as a professional boxer, having become a world champion in two weight classes. She made her acting debut in the 2021 thriller film “Catch the Fair One,” which earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for female lead, and starred in the 2023 film “Asphalt City” before joining “True Detective.” Reis appears in the film “Rebuilding,” which premiered at Sundance this year, and will next be seen in the films “Mercy” and “Wind River: The Next Chapter.”
