John Travolta posted a never-before-seen photo with his late son, Jett Travolta, on what would have been his 33rd birthday Sunday.

The snap showed the “Pulp Fiction” actor lovingly holding his eldest child, who looked at his dad and lightly grabbed his ears.

“Happy birthday Jett – I miss you so much! Love you forever!” John, 71, captioned the touching throwback picture on Instagram.

The “Grease” star, who shared Jett with his late wife, Kelly Preston, immediately received thousands of comments from fans and famous friends sharing their support.

“May his memory be eternal. ❤️,” Rita Wilson wrote.

John’s daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, also celebrated her late brother’s birthday by posting a photo of their mom kissing him as a child.

“Happy Birthday, Jetty. I love you so much ❤️,” the 25-year-old model wrote on her Instagram Story.

Jett tragically died at the age of 16 in January 2009 after suffering a seizure during a family vacation to the Bahamas.

John later shared that his late son had a history of seizures and had been diagnosed with autism.

The “Saturday Night Fever” star has called Jett’s death the “worst thing that’s ever happened in [his] life.”

“The truth is, I didn’t know if I was going to make it,” he said during a 2014 panel, per the BBC. “Life was no longer interesting to me, so it took a lot to get me better.”

John, who is also the father of 14-year-old son Benjamin, continues to honor Jett by posting annual birthday tributes in addition to creating the Jett Travolta Foundation for children with special needs.

The Oscar nominee suffered another significant loss in July 2020 when his wife of nearly 29 years died.

Preston, who wed John in September 1991, lost her two-year battle with breast cancer at age 57.

“She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered,” the movie star shared in a statement at the time.
