“Every day they’ll have to verify where they are to make sure they aren’t working remotely,” Kimmel noted.

But that same condition certainly doesn’t apply to Trump himself.

“You know, few stories capture the unicorn that is Donald Trump better than him wanting daily reports to make sure these guys are in the office while he is on a golf course in Florida cruising around in his cart,” Kimmel said.

Trump left Washington this week earlier than usual to return to his Mar-a-Lago home late Thursday night instead of Friday.

“I hope somebody gave Melania a heads-up,” Kimmel said, then offered a warning to the first lady. “He’s coming! He’s early!”
