Connor Schell‘s Full Day Productions has tapped veteran producer Jared Morell as the leading television company expands its growing team, Variety can exclusively reveal.
Full Day Productions, which has produced premium live broadcasts inclduding “The Oscar’s Red Carpet Show,” the “Netflix Cup” and “NFL Honors,” is bringing Morell on to help contribute to those events. Morell’s portfolio includes producing “Dinner Time Live with David Chang” for Netflix and “Judge Steve Harvey” for ABC. He’s also led production on specials featuring BTS, Taylor Swift, Nikki Glaser and Ken Jeong, alongside major events like the Met Gala, Vogue World Paris and the GQ Bowl.
“We’re thrilled to have Jared on board,” Full Day Productions president David Chamberlin said in a statement. “He’s got the rare combination of being able to take a concept from development all the way through production at the highest level. His energy, passion and experience will be an incredible asset as we continue to push the boundaries of what live production can be.”
In addition to his production work, Morell has also contributed to pitches and development for major award shows, including the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Kids’ Choice Awards and the People’s Choice Awards.
