The View is taking a much-needed break this Thanksgiving holiday. Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Joy Behar will be swapping out their cue cards for forks and knives this week as they take time away from the show to enjoy the holiday.
Of course, with the ladies on a brief break, it means nobody will be around to stir up drama at the Hot Topics table. As any loyal fan of the show knows, the last few weeks since Donald Trump‘s second presidential win have been a doozy at The View, with tensions flaring and fights brewing around the panel.
It all kicked off with Hostin proclaiming the day after Election Day that she was “profoundly disturbed” by Trump’s win, after which she sparred a few times with Griffin over their opposing political views.
Of course, it hasn’t all been rough seas at the panel. Behar also regaled her co-hosts with a tale of “avocado hand,” while Goldberg snuck in a filthy joke on her birthday and looked back on the early days of the show when she helped Behar pole dance.
In between it all, they’ve welcomed memorable guests like Billy Bob Thornton, Keke Palmer and New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Of course, we’ll always keep returning for more. Here’s what we know about The View‘s Thanksgiving schedule, including how long the show will be off and when it will return.
