The debut season of High Potential ended with a bang.

The season finale of ABC’s popular Kaitlin Olson-led crime drama tied the show’s season high in total viewers, per The Hollywood Reporter, and even set a new personal best in the always important “adults 18-49” demographic. What exactly does that mean for fans of the series? A second season renewal!

“I just fell in love with this character,” Olson said during the Deadline Contenders Television event in April. “I love the idea of playing something different. This woman is a very good mom and a really good person deep down, and my other characters not so much, and I just wanted to do something different.”
