Doctor Odyssey, where are you?
It’s another week in paradise, but one without ABC’s best new dramedy, which stars Joshua Jackson, Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale, and Don Johnson as crew members aboard a luxury (and often quite rowdy) cruise ship.
While we may know all about the coming episode thanks to a teaser trailer released by ABC, it’s going to be another minute or two until we can watch Episode 16 (“Double-Booked”) play out in all its drama filled ways. In the episode, two diametrically opposed groups — the “tradwives” and the “sex positives” have both booked The Odyssey and are forced to cohabitate for the week. It’s basically two of the most polarizing sides of TikTok so this one is sure to be a hit.
And it’s going to be well worth the wait because this week, we’re taking a short break from cruising and docking until futher notice. Not to stress, our favorite doctor, nurses, and ship captain will be back shortly.

Sadly, there is no new episode of Doctor Odyssey on tonight, April 24. The NFL Draft is moving our next voyage with Dr. Max and the rest of the crew back just a little bit.
When Does Doctor Odyssey Episode 16, “Double-Booked,” Air?
The next episode of Doctor Odyssey will air on Thursday, May 1. Thankfully, this means there’s only a one week delay in the next episode of our favorite medical drama.
What Time Does Doctor Odyssey Air On ABC?
New episodes of Doctor Odyssey — when they are on, that is — premiere on ABC at 9 PM local time. The episodes stream the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
When Will Doctor Odyssey Episode 16 Drop On Hulu?
New episodes of Doctor Odyssey, including “Shark Attack,” upload to Hulu the next morning at 3:01 a.m. or 5:00 a.m. You will need to have a subscription, which can be purchased for as low as $9.99 a month (or $99.99 per year) for an ad-supported option. Plans on the higher end go all the way up to $95.99 per month for the Hulu + Live TV with Disney+ and ESPN+ bundle.

Will there be a Season 2 of Doctor Odyssey? Has Doctor Odyssey been renewed?
Batten your hatches, folks, as there is STILL no word on whether or not the crew of the Odyssey will set sail once again in the fall of 2025. There were some reports in early April of 2025 that the show is still “on the bubble” as it relates to renewal/cancellation, which means one thing: You’ve GOTTA watch next week’s episode (and the one after that, and the one after that, too!). Tell your friends, too!
