It’s a family reunion!

Frankie Muniz posted a behind-the-scenes photo while filming Disney+’s “Malcolm in the Middle” revival, reuniting with his on-screen parents Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek.

All three actors reprise their respective roles as Malcolm, Hal and Lois in the modern spin on the beloved sitcom. Per the logline of the four-episode revival, “Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.”

Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield are also reprising their respective roles of Francis and Reese in the new series. However, Erik Per Sullivan is not returning as Dewey. Instead, “Fargo” and “The Expanse” actor Caleb Ellsworth-Clark will take over the role. (Sullivan largely gave up acting after “Malcolm in the Middle” ended in 2006. His last acting credit was in 2010.)

Variety exclusively reported that Kiana Madeira will star as Tristan, Malcolm’s girlfriend. The series will also star Anthony Timpano (“Riverdale,” “Nancy Drew”), Vaughan Murrae (“Before I Change My Mind,” “The Way Home”) and Keeley Karsten (“The Fabelmans,” “Hunters”). Timpano will play Malcolm’s youngest brother, Jamie, while Murrae will play Malcolm’s youngest sibling, Kelly. Karsten will play Malcolm’s daughter, Leah.

Jamie was introduced in the fourth season of “Malcolm in the Middle,” while Kelly is a new character whose presence was hinted at in the series finale when it was revealed Hal and Lois were expecting a sixth child. She is described as “self-sufficient” and “already wiser than most of the family.” Meanwhile, Leah is said to have “the same sarcastic humor, same impulsiveness and the same frighteningly high intelligence” as her father Malcolm, “but she’s far more sensitive and emotional.”
