“Found” has canceled at NBC after two seasons, Variety has confirmed.

The drama series originally debuted on NBC in 2023. Shanola Hampton leads the cast, which also includes Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi.

The official description of the series states:

“In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about. Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely (Hampton), who was once herself one of those forgotten ones, and her crisis management team make sure there is always someone looking out for the missing. Gabi, however, has a chilling secret: In the midst of grief, she imprisoned her childhood kidnapper, Sir (Gosselaar). Now Sir has escaped and is on the loose, and her biggest secret is now her biggest threat.”

Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Lindsay Dunn serve as executive producers. Hampton is a producer on the series in addition to starring. “Found” is produced by Berlanti Productions and Rock My Soul Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.

“Found” is the latest NBC series to find itself on the chopping block today as NBCUniversal prepares for its upfront presentation in New York on May 12. Fellow dramas “Suits LA” and The Irrational” have also been canceled, as have comedies “Night Court” and “Lopez vs. Lopez.”

Deadline first reported the cancellation.
